About Belém

I went in Belém capital of Pará last weekend with my husband and my mother.
The city has many beautiful places. I went in the Indian museums, in the museum of religious art, in the house of eleven windows, etc. But the best walk was the boat trip on the river Guamá. The place is very beautiful.
The only problem is the dirt of the city. The drainage is open in the street. It's horrible. I’m sad because the government allows it.
The people there are very nice and friendly. The typical dance and typical clothes are very beautiful and interesting.
There are many things cheap in Belém, such as Brazil nut and chocolate cupuaçu. Cupuaçu is very delicious! I ate much. I went in the show of Fafa of Belém. She's a typical singer of Belém. The show is very good! At the end of show she dressed of India and spoke about the Amazon and the Indians. I stayed thrilled.
I recommend the place, but the government needs to invest more in the city. The tourists will find the place beautiful but are surprising contrast social, poverty.
